Crispness of dry leaves, low sunbeams making us look through our lashes and a chill which slowly invites us to turn inward. In strange times like these, autumns turning into winters can feel more harsh then usual. Especially in a political context where polarisation tries to drag us apart, while the body tries to remember where it belongs. We have instant access to the wisdom of this body, it’s all right there, right now. All it asks for is attention and patience.
Kaula Yoga has the intention to cultivate a harmonically balanced flow of life energy, also called „Prana“, or „Chi“ in Chinese medicine. The poses are performed through a deep state of relaxation, soft but firm at the same time. This yoga system teaches you how to meditate with every muscle, cell, breath. Every part of our Being. Through this deep relaxation we let go of any competition with ourselves or the others, cultivating honesty, patience, self-love. It brings the active and passive together, letting it exist next to eachother. We move through three chapters: one which letˋs the energy flow freely, and two where meditations and asanas follow eachother in a dance. Kaula Yoga knows that you are the one who knows your body best, who knows what feels good.
During the months of November & December 2024, Zoë is offering Kaula Tantra yoga classes in Antwerp (BorGerHub) & Brussels (EU quarters). All classes are free contribution based, with a suggested fee of €15 per class. Join for one or more sessions. Bring your own mat or mention you need one while reserving.
